Hi
My current 02 contract is due to expire next month and ive been interested in the Nokia N93 which various dealers have on the 02 network yet it isnt on 02 site.

Im after knowing if it will be appearing to buy direct through 02 or would i get it through a contract renewal with the handset at least or better priced than the 12 month £30 per month contracts and £80 towards handset price ive seen on it so far.

At present it seems unlikely that O2 will take the phone on themselves.

I think Voda are doing the phone but only over the phone from what ive heard so O2 may follow this trend eventually but even in the CPW the phone is basically being sold SIM free with an O2 sim card.

Perhaps you should try upgrading through a site like e2save although i wouldnt like to speculate how much it would be but my guess is that it would be a lot.

Customers who upgrade arnt really taken care of as well as new customers these days unless your spending in excess of £50 a month so my advice to you would be to port your number to a PAYG on another network and take out a new contract as well as in the process porting your number back.

Mobileshop has some great deals on the n93. Last tim i checked an 18month contract at £30pm got you the N93 for free. And on a 12 month contract it was around £79.99 which is still good.

I was actually looking at getting it from Mobileshop at the weekend and thought id order it monday morning as it would still be sent out at the same time and could possibly drop in price but it didnt it went up in price :(

The 12month £30 contract was £80 has now gone upto £100 and the other 18month £30 a month contract that had the handset as free has now gone upto £80 instead

I think i'll wait until it goes down in price as deffo will not pay more even if its just £20 im going just stay with my k800i instead for time being not that i was planning on getting rid of my k800i...

I can confirm that it is highly unlikely O2 will take it,

Looking at launch dates up to March next year, The N93 is pencilled in nowhere, yet the N95 is!

I might attempt to just wait for the N95 then im not too into signing up to a phone dealer paying quite abit towards the handset and then getting a worse tarriff than id get from the 02 site :(

Im not 100% into the design of the N95 but i suppose its ok and its got plenty of features to compensate for me not too sure on the look of it ....plus with abit of luck Three might get it on there network so a £30 tarriff would get me alot more for my money with some free internet going of there current tarriffs :D

Well Three are due to roll out their new HSDPA network very shortly, so it looks very likely that they will take on the N95 in febuary time. Really, they would be stupid not to!

It is quite tempting indeed to think that 3 will take on the N95. The best thing would be to keep your ears open for anyone who works at 3 directly involved in testing.

I have a mate who does work there and did correctly inform me of the k800 and the n80s release. I shall be keeping my ears open........
