Just noticed there is an option to send SMS via packet data.

What are the benefits of this?

If I send an SMS via GPRS or 3G packet data on a Web n Walk tariff, does this mean that effectively I'm not paying for the SMS (due the unlimited nature of Web n Walk)?

No, this option only changes the way the sms is sent to the t-mobile smsc, either way you get billed by t-mobile for it. i think the only difference is that it may send a bit quicker.

But you always can use wap.tjat.com, and via this wap site use msn messenger instead of sms. Gprs/3G traffic is always cheaper

sms sent via gprs is not currently supported on t-mobile anyway and will not work.

Hello Robert

Using cc on the data card you can send sms if connected via GPRS (red led) if connected via UMTS it wont (blue led) when you disconnect, the sms gets sent
