Wow, that is amazing, I'm glad it's fine. I use the little strap a lot as I'd hate to drop it :)

Yes, it should've been, a black leather strap, most of the N series have them :)

I have to disagree... slightly.
I took my phone to the park with my daughter and decided to check out the picture abilities while pushing her on the swing. However, as I waited for the picture to capture she was swinging back towards the phone and kicked it clean out of my hand!!
Anyway, it's bouncy tarmac so the phone survived, none of the pieces fell apart but it did get scratched on one corner. :(

One other thing, if you purchased the phone via three, you'll see that in the "what's included in the box" bit that it clearly states that you'll receive a wrist strap and screen cloth... neither of which I received. (also niether of which I'll use).
However, out of principle I called 3-sales from where I purchased the phone, explained that I wanted the wrist strap because i didn't want my phone to get damaged and I was expecting to have received one.
The girl spoke to her manager who agreed to credit my account with £10 as a goodwill gesture. :)

Useful to know....

I dropped mine whilst walking down the street and it now has a nice big dent in the corner by the screen! Also the silver paint is all scuffed round the bottom of the phone but this isn't from it being dropped. I don't understand why this is happening because I always take care of all my phones. You can't get fascias for them on ebay either which is annoying

Thanks for the info on the £10 credit. My N73 was also shipped with out the strap or cloth. I just spoke to three, they tried to fob me off with only £5 good will but I managed to get a tenner.

So far i'm pretty pleased with the handset, all except for the lack of reoccuring alarm clock.

My N73 from 3 came without a wrist strap and cloth. They credited me with £10 on my first bill

Yeah mine gets dropped out of my pocket (accidentally) every lunchtime break on the swing, it has never got dented scratched or n e fin the fone still works fine execpt for the glitches with the software that ive always had. Mines a Vodafone, i keep it in a sock, this might explain some of the lack of scraches? maby............

The phone is made of PLASTIC and thin plastic at that. I can't see it being any more robust that any other phone.

BOY O BOY

Are Three generous told them I didn't get strap or cloth and got £5 each credit to account. Then moaned that it didn't even come with a standard 64Mb card like 6680 did and got further £10. RESULT!!!!:D :D

They will probly scam me for it later:eek:

No strap or cloth with mine either, I think I will be givig Three a call later :cheeky:

And there is new covers availble on ebay I noticed, looks pretty complex to put together though (has about 30 parts)
I have not seen the quality either, if anybody does purchase one then let us all know what it is like.
