I currently signed up to Web"n"Walk professional for my laptop a few months ago (Just data no voice) for £19.98 a month... I noticed that now on their site they have completely changed the price plans.
Does this mean that I will still be on £19.98 that I signed up for 18 months from when I bought it?
Also I saw in the news page:
The Register has learned Web 'n' Walk Max will have a 10GB data limit and no restrictions on VoIP or instant messaging use. It'll cost consumer punters £22.50 as a standalone product and £44 for suits, who get voice bundled in.
Does this mean for £22.50 I can change price plans to allow me for a 10gb limit and allow VOIP? I checked on t-mobile's site but can only find £44 for data only price (10gb includes voip) even thought it says on the guardian I can get it for £22.50?
Can anyone help please?
Cheers!

The datacard price plans now come in two versions - £29 & £44 (inc VAT). The £44 lets you use VOIP, the £29 does not. £29 has a 3GB fair use policy, the £44 has a 10GB FUP.
The £22.50 option is available to be added to a voice price plan e.g. Flext 35. There are certain price plans where the Max option (£22.50) is included in the price plan.
Let me know if you have any questions and I will try to help.

Im currently on t mobile on the flex t 35 along with the 7.50 web/walk option
Id like to use the phone as a modem to use with my laptop id like to use msn download afew things and general surfing. what plan would you suggest and what speeds would i get.
i cant get my head round the different speeds so please speak slowly ;)

To use your phone as a modem with your laptop, you have to go to the Plus option which is £12.50. This allows you to use your phone as a modem, downloading, instant messaging but not VOIP. There is a 3GB FUP. You have a choice of staying on Flext 35 and removing the £7.50 option and add the Plus option. Or you change your price plan to Flext 35 + web'n'walk Plus which is the same price. Do you have any offer on your Flext 35?
The speed you will get depends on a few things -
1. the phone you have - is it 3G?
2. have you got 3G coverage?
3. How busy the cell you are connected to.
3G can give speeds up to 384kbps downlink and 64kbps uplink (speeds are not guaranteed and will be up to)
2.5G will give speeds up to 64kbps up and downlink.
The current data cards are HSDPA enabled. These can give speeds up to 1.8mbps downlink as long as you have the right coverage. The only phone that is HSDPA enabled is the Vario II.
Hope this helps.

I have 3g coverage and my phone is 3g
I currently pay 26.25 for my flext 35 which includes a 25% discount
and then pay 7.50 for my web/walk
would i still keep my discount if i took the 12.50 option ?
many thanks for the quick reply much appreciated

If you remove the £7.50 option and take the £12.50 option, then the discount will stay as you are not changing price plan.
Let me check what happens if you change the whole of your price plan to Flext 35 + web'n'walk Plus. I'll have to get back to you tomorrow on this.
You can add and remove the options at anytime via CS or via My T-Mobile (I think) but price plans can only be changed on your bill date.

What will happen to the people already on a price plan that signed up for 18 months contract? Does it mean that I will still be only paying £19.99 a month for the rest of my contract?

If you have already bought at £19.99 a month, you can continue on this price plan. This price plan is no longer on sale and customers have to choose between the 2 new ones.
