Problems whilst using phone as modem with OrangeWorld (OrangeInternet).

Hiya,

Well basically I can connect my Nokia 6630 to my PC and then use the one touch dialling part of the software to get me connected via USB and that all works fine...

The problem is, when I'm browsing the internet on my PC my browser is displaying web pages how it would on my Nokia 6630 ie. it's resizing images to small, grainy gif's and some pages don't display the layout correctly because it's being optimised for phone use, when I'm not actually browsing on my phone.

Is there any way I can fix this? Because I have a strong 3g signal in my house so I can get speeds fast enough to display these sites and images correctly, it's just not doing it.

if you are currently using the orangeinternet access point, try changing it to orangewap

i cant remember which one works best but i think whats happening is that orange are trying to keep your costs down by prerendeing the page for your phone on their servers before transferring it
