SMS Counter & SMS Reminder for Nokia 73

Good morning to you all.

I have trawled through as many sites as I can find, however I'm unable to find the 2 pieces of software as mentioned above.

I have found the applications for N70's etc , however obviously when you try to download it just says not supported for this phone on the screen.

Does anyone know of any sites that provide these applications for the N73. The SMS counter would be good , however not essential , but the SMS reminder would be very handy for me.

Links would be great.

I have just got a N73 and the SMS reminder is useful. I had it with my Samsung and Moto..

Did you find any software?

Yes I found the software called......Reminder.

Excellent piece of s/ware. Reminds you of texts, missed calls etc by any tone or music you have on your phone. I have mine set to a descreet Beep , which reminds me every 5 mins for 30 mins , or until I look at it (whichever is the sooner.

You can set the reminder to operate in whatever profile you wish , or all if you want , & you can set it up to operate between certain times. As I say , excellent application.

Just Google ' SMS REminder for Symbian 3rd Edition phones ' & you're sure to find it. I'm not sure how to post links, so if you can't find it let me know & I'll PM you.

I'm as yet unable to find an SMS counter for the 3rd edition phones.

Thanks for the quick reply...! I've only had my N73 a couple of days and love it!

I came from a 6280 but before Sammy's etc. so loved the SMS reminder bit..

I'm googling now! :)

Is registration mandatory? i.e. does it stop working? any 'pop ups' etc. over a certain period?

I have noticed that after about 2 weeks it starts to say ' Register for Remind Me ' & stops working.

When this has happened , I've just downloaded the application again & it works again as normal. I've done this about 3 times now !!

If the worst comes to the worst , there are about 3 sites that do it now , 7 it only costs about 7 quid , which is nothing really for an excellent piece of software.

Like yourself , I too have had Motos & Samsung phones that have this reminder feature. I really missed it as it came in very handy for me , & was very pleased when I eventually found this one.

I was also pleased when I found the application to lock individual features on my N73 too (texts etc) as I also had this on my other phones & came in very handy due to my work. Pleased you have it & enjoy your N73 mate. There have been reported problems with them , however had mine for about 3 months now & no problems at all......even with old & new firmware.

Thanks for the tips - I think I might pay for the Remind Me software, I love it and it's worth it me thinks.

What I love about having a phone like this is you can do so much and get some very decent add-ons. It's great...

Know, my next piece of software I would love to find is... schedule a SMS. i.e. write an SMS and have it timed when it's to be sent... :-)

I'm looking now....

Hi. i have registered remind me but it keeps on losing the registration and tells me to register again after about 2 weeks as you said, and when i enter the reg number again, it won't work anymore. is the one you're using that stops working after 2 weeks the unregistered version or a registered version? mine i entered the serial number already but stops working after 2 weeks anyway.
