unlock a UK k800 on 3.. but living in ireland

ook moved to ireland and iav a 3 mobile which is locked to that network... i used to be with 3 but now if i want to unlock it i need to give them a number soo they can pay for the unlock from the account.... soo what should i doo..? buy a 3 (uk) sim? does it matter if its my sim or someone others.... the mobile that is locked is 3pay and is not registered to anyone
