Max Capicity Memory on the N73

New to forum, just got the new Nokia N73. Just wondering will it support a 4GB MiniSD or only a 1GB as nokia says briefly on their website.

That auction site that everyone hates to mention sells them on there, but before i buy one i wanted to see if anyone else has tried a 4GB, or even a 2GB MiniSD in their N73.

I have a 2gb sandisk ultra II minisd working fine in my N73, paid about £47 inc delivery from an amazon.co.uk seller.

If you are buying memory cards, also try Mymemory and Pitstop as they both have good prices on them:)
Ps just check the P+P as some times one is cheaper that the other ;)

i paid £25 inc postage from hong kong for a 2GB kingston card of ebay.

Works absolutely fine.

DA ting wid NOKIA is dat dey dont tell people it supports more dan 2GB coz people will just by da phone n memory card n will not upgrade if dey find out it supports more dan 2GB of memory. See NOKIA clever & plus dey never make a phone known as AIO (All In One) e.g Carl Zeis Camera/WiFi/Infared/Bluetooth/Music (like N91)/HDD etc coz dey knw if dey did poelple will buy it n never upgrade lol...

I have a 2gb sandisk ultra II and Plugged it in and it worked fine. You could try formating it in "tools~memory~options and format memory card" but that relies on it being detected in the first place. Alternativly out it in the adaptor that it came with plug it in your computer and format it from explorer.

hi, try formatting it in your pc, choose fat in the options not fat32, then format it in the phone. hope this helps

If these manufacturers cards dont work well with the phone, I suppose I would have to buy a 2GB Sandisk one even though the price is quite high. I think the Transcend one seems to be decent, any replies are appreciated! Since I spent £200 on the n73 I dont want to be chopping off anymore fingers! :)

They have the 2gb for £35

no idea on the others, all I can say is my sandisk is great. im filling it up with MP3`s as we speak.
