Hi, Has anyone experienced problem with deleting an EMail from the N73. I've just got one from 3 Network, and all worked fine, but after a couple of days when ever I want to delete an emailed on the 3MAIL the phone switches the screen to the main standby screen, and stops the data connection. Totally unable to delete emails from the handset.
Rang 3 and they will replace the handset, however I'm interested to know if this is a problem on N73 or just a one-off bad phone.

I've experienced the same problem. got phone unbranded and unlocked from link shop. The only way to delete message is to open it and then select "delete" from option menu. I think is a firmware bug.

sloved this one. had phone a day and was chuffed to dicover i got the email settings correct. never managed it b4. i downloaded 20+ emails on to phone to discover i could not delete them.
what you need to do....
go to email site on pc and delete all emails you dont want then disconnect from email site and wait a couple of minutes (phone wont connect when pc connected to mail server and vice a versa).
provide you have already selected delete mail from phone/ delete from phone and server. (which you have because my phone went back to main screen also) when you connect to email server again all emails except those you did not delete should disapear
