O2 internet on PAYG

Quick question, does o2 PAYG still have restrictions on the internet? I am considering the o2 "Ice" and would want to use Opera Mini on it.

Yes, the restrictions are still there - no Opera I'm afraid

Well, that's two phones off my list then as the Samsung s400i on o2 is 99.99 in tesco, that would have been two excellent choices for the same price, good news is that my mate's just been given a Samsung D600 on a work contract so looks like i'll be getting his Nokia 6630 as soon as Voda give him the unlock codes! :)

I have been running NetFront browser on my payg xda for approx 12months with no problems. Can also use IE, but it is a little slow.

Not tried it on a normal phone as there are quite a few adjustable settings on the xda, so you may not be able to enter all these on a normal phone.

My daughter has a spv500 and I downloaded the settings from the I-mate site (they had both payg & monthly settings for all operators).

If you want the settings drop me aline and I will dig them out (put them into a word doc somwhere!).

Decided to join o2 anyway, free text allowance is worth the trade off plus i had a "argument" with Orange so no longer a customer!!!

when i tried o2 PAYG web you couldnt use it to access pop email, like gmail.
