Can any one from Voda help me with regards to the above postcode? I seem to be having horrendous problems with a 3g connection in this postcode and it has been like this for a few days now. When I speak with Voda they tell me to switch to a 2g signal while in the area but are unable to give me any more info other than that.... Help?

Hi,

Are you still having problems? Checking as of today there's been no reported faults with the Britannia switch on 3G. I take it from BR1 it's the middle of Bromley? Looking at the area east of Edes Park and west of Chislehurst, the 3G coverage in this location is patchy, falling between what could be classed as strong, variable and partial (outdoor only). This may be because of physical or geographical features particularly for what I'm guessing is a town centre location?

Have you had problems previously in this area? Or maybe moved location within this post code district? (as above, this does appear to be a mixed area of coverage as far as 3G strength goes.)

Is it a complete failure when you try to get a connection (e.g. an error message) or does the 3G signal constantly revert back down to 2G (e.g. slowed downloads, pixelated images on Mobile TV etc)?

Nah looks like it has been all fixed... it was a proper nightmare though as I work in the area and if I forgot to switch on to 2g only I would not get service... Thanks anyway :)

If you continue to get these intermittment issue's in this area you should record some details, times location, bearer type (3G, GPRS etc.) and depending on business or consumer let me know and i'll direct to the most effective place to get this looked into for you.

Thanks.. I will endeavour to get some details, however as I only shift work in the area, the info may not be 100% accurate.
