When you make a post which is against the rules, you may see a small red or yellow card next to the post. This indicates that you have broken a forum rule. The poster of the offending post will recive a message explaining what they have done from an admin or moderator. If you persist with this rule breaking, you will first get all your posts moderated before they appear, and then if you still persist you will get banned.

The repuation system is set up. This allows you to add to a users reputation if you think they have been very helpful or made a useful post. Just click on the small set of scales in the top right corner of the post you think is useful. This will then allow you to add to their reputation.

If you have any questions about the 3G Forum or the above, please email me or another admin at 3gadmin@gmail.com

Hey

The reputation system is good
I am adding points to all the good posts

Guess this means that all the best posters will be immediately recognisable voa their rep level

Very useful tools for a this ever expanding forum, i'm sure that over the months "stars" will emerge, (i could name a few already) and this will give us something to strive to, all the time becoming better forum users and gaining more knowlege about the world of mobile communication technology.

Well done chaps :)

Yes I too like the rep system
Here are the rep levels setup

User is just starting out as a REPPER
User is just starting to build a REP
User has a moderate REP
User has a good REP
User has a very good REP
User has a rock steady REP

As your reputation builds you move up the rep tree to finally be seen as someone with a rock steady rep level.
