Check which network your friend is on, then check if Vodafone have a roaming agreement with them. Sometimes its possible to send one way and not the other.

Hi Daniel,
I work for Vodafone and can offer some informal advice.
When you reply to the message, your phone is more than likely sending the message to +46xxxxxxxxxxxx but the network may only allow you to send the message to 0046.
Give it a try and see if it works.
If you still have problems, let me know and I'll look into this further for you.

cheers, but it still does not work after 0046 would i have to have their whole number or would i have to cut out some of the first numbers

Hi Dan,
You should check the phone number which is appears as sender. Try put the number manually. All np are "old wariors" except Hutch 3. And also try send msg from website.

aright,so 6600. Try this.Delete all settings(mms, gprs) then download them from your operator website and save it. Turn off/turn on your phone.and check your sms settings.Go to sms - settings-txt msg- reply via to same centrum=no(or off)
- use gprs=no(or off).

Think you should do something a little easier first - call customer service and check you dont have an International Bar on your account - you will find these are automatically applied at registration (especially on PAYG) this stops expensive calls/texts from your phone to Internationl numbers - one call to CS to request removal of the bar should do it!

Hi,
So that we could look into this for you, we’d need to take a few details from you.
You can provide these details by visiting our website at www.vodafone.co.uk, select the 'contact us' option at the top of the screen and then ‘email’. You’d need to type the code FIT135 in the body, and this will make sure the email gets to the most suitable person to look into this for you.
Make sure you give a full account of the problem, including:
- the country your friend is in
- what network provider he uses
- the make and model of mobile you're using
- the relevant security information on the email field (including your mobile number)
As csr's_are_human says, customer services will then be able to give you a clear update after checking the status of your account.
If you still have problems please let me know.

Sorry I know this thread is a bit old but I just came across it.
I'm using FishText from www.fishtext.com to text Sweden. It's saving me a fortune, lol. The app is Java so it works on pretty much anything, inc. my W910i. Hope it helps!!
