I am (unfortunately) an Orange customer and have recently, within the past few days, been unable to connect to the internet via my mobile phone (Samsung Z500).

I emailed Orange customer services, who been their usual helpful selves, replied with an automated email suggesting that I spend my time (30 mins+ been the norm), and money on telephoning them.

I thought I would see if anyone else is experiencing this problem as their call centre operatives are renowned for their ineptness, though they did say ‘that they had received a high volume of emails recently which may delay our response’. I take this as the electronic way of telling me that ‘my call is in a queue and will be answered by an operator shortly’.

I cannot even get my homepage, constantly getting the ‘Service unavailable’ message returned. If any one is experiencing this problem, or has any ideas of how I might resolve this, please reply as I really do not want to have to go through the Orange Customer Services call centre (ever) again! Cheers!!

On another more amusing note, the first line of their email read: -

Orange strive to supply customers with the highest level of service and we would therefore like to advise that this is an automated response.
