Nokia E61/vodafone live

hi all
i have a nokia e61 direct from vodafone, when i go to vodafone live, all i get is a text version showing nothing.


Is my E61 faulty ?

Hi,

The Nokia E61 is available on the Vodafone enterprise range of mobiles only. It isn't actually listed as a Vodafone Live! handset which might be why you're only getting a text / standard internet browser. You should still be able to access the world wide web through the non Live! Browser.

I've listed the specification below:

Band Frequencies: GSM850/900/1800/1900 & 3G
Vodafone live!: No
3G: Yes
GPRS: Yes
WLAN: Yes
Bluetooth: Yes

Thanks for your quick reply, apparently customers of vodafone in germany who purchase the Nokia E61 can get vodafone live.

Its not a live handset and hence why no live menu

I am trying to spak to someone to get it to display as all it needs is the live portal to recognise the handset model/imei range

Hi Phatspider,

I work for Vodafone and can offer some informal advice.

I've spoken to our Technical Department who’ve told me that the company who operate Vodafone Live! for us, haven't yet developed the Live! Portal. They have told me that they are working on this but have no time scale.

HELLO ALL
Just found out vodafone uk have made a mistake and this handset will not work at all with vodafone live/mobile tv, even though it says so on their website. If your not happy like me change using there website as evidence, be quick because they will remove it soon.:mad:
