Which phone help please

I have been looking on the orange site for a phone for my 70 year old mum. She is not indifferent to new technology and has embraced mobile phones. She has used a nokia and has a samsung e720 at the moment. Her current contract is with o2, she wants to move to orange because of the deals plus free broadband for her. Yes she uses a laptop. She likes the idea of wireless on her laptop as it has a card and voip. Hoever I need help on what phone she should have, bearing in mind she takes her glasses off to read the keypad and fingers that are not as dextrous as they were. I like the idea that she has a 3g phone so if there are any problems I can see her etc. I was thinking of the samsung z500 as layout is very much the same as the phone she has now, but it has diappeared off the orange site, previously it was showing out of stock.

Does any one have any views to help us to decide which phone would best suit her.

1. Have you thought of buying a sim free one on e bay unlocked and going for the T-Mobile 3G Data card for £17 PM with 2GB of a download limit

She wont need the web access on a phone, just texts and rings. Also she can get free broadband, and as we are all with orange can have my number as a magic number

If she only calls and texts then there is little point of her going to 3G. If she likes the layout of her E720 why doesnt she get the E770 as it is the same but samsung have fixed all the downfalls of the E720

Just thinking...if you want a nice big keypad then the v3x springs to mind. It is 3G but not a Samsung.

Or the moto E1070? The keypad on that looks quite big

Thanks for your help. The only reason I mentioned 3g is because if there is a problem and I am not with her she video call me from her home I can then see what the problem is etc.

Go for the new Samung Slide Z400, Do you know you have to be on £30 a month or more, And be on a 18 Month Contract to get FREE BROADBAND. It is more than likely a phone that is easy to use and she will also be used to it.
