I joined Vodafone last week after being with Orange for 10years. The only reason I changed was because I wanted the Nokia 6280 and Orange couldn't say when it would be available. I am now regretting moving to vodafone. I had to contact customer services 2 days ago as I had downloaded some music tracks from voda live and I couldn't use them because it keeps asking for an activation code. What i thought would be a simple thing to remedy has turned into a disaster. I was told they would send me the activation codes needed. They did send the links but they didnt work, I have rung them 5 times so far every time speaking to a different person. When i explain the messages they send are not working they just send the same links that dont work. the last time they tried to send them I was told if it didnt work this time they would reimburse my account if I rang back. when i did a different advisor left me on hold for 15 minutes and sent the codes again and they still dont work. In desperation I decided to try a Vodafone store who just said they didnt know how to help they even accused me of lying saying it wasnt a voda mobile because they couldnt see the brand name on the phone. I pointed out that was because he had his thumb covering the logo. How do you get through to someone who knows how to help without going through the whole process again and again and getting nowhere. I have paid for a service which I cant use and cant even get a refund. How many more times to i have to try ringing them? Can anyone suggest the best option number to press for customer service help when you ring them? I also tried sending them an email from their website but it seems they are having problems and thats not working either.

Hello
I work for Vodafone and can offer informal help.
There are no problems with the contact web form at the moment, which you should be able to access at www.vodafone.co.uk/contactus.
I’d suggest getting in touch with Vodafone this way, who’ll be committed to helping. If you add the code FIT135 in to the body text of your e mail, it will be routed to the right person.
Hope this helps.

I really appreciate your help. Before i had the chance to email Voda surprise surprise my music tracks finally started working this morning so something did happen after all my calls to C/S although I get the feeling that calling in the evening you seem to get people who can only answer routine questions and I was cut off twice after being left on hold and nobody bothered to call back. I hope everything will be smooth sailing from now on but if i have to contact again I will email as per your suggestion. One final question can that code be used for all contact or just specific download problems?
Thanks again for your help.
You can use the 'contact us' section of the website to contact Vodafone for any queries that you may have. Your email will then be responded to to resolve your query, whatever it may be.
The code FIT135 will help you with this particulary query and it will guarantee that it is rooted to the correct person.
