This may be a basic question but do all 3G phones have a TV function or only on specific models. I want to get a phone which supplies sky news/sport but Im not sure if the number of compatable models is restricted or not?
thanks

Information on the mobile TV service can be found here:
http://vodafone-i.co.uk/live/live_tv.html
After giving it a quick read it says
"To watch Sky Mobile TV, you'll need a Vodafone 3G mobile."
Which does imply that it will work on any 3G phone purchased from Vodafone.

unless some super-snazzy new new phones have great streaming quality - don't waste your time, yet. I've got a v1050 and the mobile tv thing is terrible! It goes pixely and looks like aliens have taken over your screen... :alien:

Hi jswarb001,
As mentioned, you'll just need a 3G mobile to subscribe to a 3G package. There's a link on the Vodafone website which gives you a breakdown of the 3G mobiles available (below)
http://www.vodafone-i.co.uk/live/3g_phones.html
Quality can sometimes vary from mobile to mobile and also the screen size on the handset, I've had no problems in a good area of 3G coverage using a Sony Ericsson W900i and the Nokia 6680.
