Question regarding Friends and Family

Hi,
New to the forum, very good, found lots of info.

But can you shed some light on this one:

I am waiting for the Vario II to move from Orange to T Mobile, but plan to move the Wife's phone now. A friend at work's wife works for T Mobile and has said she can get me the Friends and Family discount. Question is, if I set a new account up for the wife under my name, get the discount applied, and then later add my phone - will the discount apply to this phone also automatically?

Sorry if it doesnt sound clear, its a little hard to explain.
One reason for asking is that the person giving the discount is about to leave T Mobile, but the Vario II is still not available.

the discount will only apply to your wife's phone. your phone won't get the discount automatically. the t-mobile employee will have to ring to put your number on discount.

I suppose, bearing that in mind, the next question should be

When will the Vario II be released?

If I can get this, I will move both accounts.
