hey, im on 02 but i think orange seems to have better offers, can any1 help coz i duno how 2 port my number?? what do i have to do, thanx!!

Call O2 to get your PAC (Porting Authorisation Code), then get your phone on Orange and either give them the PAC when you are taking out the contract, or call 150 free from your Orange phone.
Your number will be transfered across in 7 days (in the week between the transfer taking place and you getting the contract you will be given a temp number) and they will usually give you a 5 hour time window of when it will take place (As you may experience disruption in service on both handsets during this time).
Simple as.

hey, thanx alot!! no problem thats why we are all here, to help each other. I've ported numbers using that number so much easier they know what their doing . When you get your phone ring that number they can register your hand set at same time saves you making 2 calls
