MDA Vario II...

Hi everyone! I have posted this in a different section but had no reply so i thought i'd try nyarh. :)

Does anyone know when the MDA Vario II (or the HTC Hermes) will be available on T-Mobile?

I've been due an upgrade on my business contract for a while now and I got kinda sick of waiting for the N80 (the phone I really want is the SE P990i but that'll probably be christmas if ever on T-Mobile!). So I started to look at the Vario and nearly plumped for it... That was until I saw the Vario II is due out soon, which has 3g and a better camera (among other things) I'm not too bothered about video calling but the extra speed for surfing on 3g especially on a device like that I would really like!

I just hate upgrading only to find out after 2-3 weeks a new version comes out or the N80 comes out!... On the other hand I hate hanging around waiting with an old phone and having no idea when I'm gonna get an upgrade!! It could be 6 months for all I know!

Been waiting a while for the Hermes or N80 on T-Mobile too. Nowhere else can beat Flext+Web'n'walk for value.

Apparently T-Mobile have promised a big refresh of the phone range sometime in June, so it may be worth waiting til then to see what they come up with.

I rang my local supplier about the Vario II last night and told him I was getting a bit sick of waiting for the N80 and he said that the N80 is imminent on T-mobile, he's got them in stock but obviously only for O2 / Vodafone, but he reckons it'll be in the next week to two weeks on t-mob!!

He could just be talking out his arse I suppose but there you go, he originally told me a while back that he expects it on t-mob 6 weeks after its released on O2 / Voda but then again that could have just been an intelligent guess!

He's ringing me back about the Vario II after he's found some info, if any!
