The best flash and flex I have ever had is here http://www.matrax.net/forum/showthread.php?t=32734 It is divided into 8 parts(rar) Put all of them to 1 folder and unpack 1 of them.After flashing remember to change language(language=jezyk).It is fast,good quality recording continuous video 10 minutes(12,5 minutes on trans flash),1 mb mms,nice skin.There is no simlock.It was made in Poland by Sawiola and Sickboy.(alternative thread http://rapidshare.de/files/21841324/c975_matrax.net_v_1.rar.html )

sorry I cant check it because I think after flashing my phone, it will load bootloader 0.6.3.2. It is very difficult to unlock the phone for this version if accidently locked by some mean. More over this bootloader version will not allow to revert back to 0.6.1.0 which is my current bootloader version.

Any comments?

1)There is no risk to upgrade bootloader this way
2)There is no risk to lock the phone
3)There is just one risk you are going to change your C975 for the very powerfully tool:)

What sort of software did you have before flashing?I ask cause there is no way to destroy the phone with this flash but it does not works on R26 and R24...06 software!

I were playing around with my phone over the weekend and accidently caused my C975 to be in Engineering Mode permanently.

Luckily I managed to flash it to the MaTraX but I lost the LangPack 004D for English, Chinese Traditional and Chinese Simplified.

I extracted the LP004D from the R24_U_80.2F.68I_A_LP004D_DRM0101_JPHK_DAP_80.2F.68 I_A_SAC975T673RHL110F_1FF.shx pack and created a single flash file. After flashing the screen blinks at the Motorola startup screen when powering up. Anyway I manage to reflash the original MaTrax's LP without doing a full reflash.

One thing I noticed is that in the original MaTraX's LP the total string is 16C4 whereas the LP004D I extracted only have 16C0 and that's 4 strings less. Not very sure whether this is the cause or it is due to the LP004D is taken from R24_U_80.2F.68I..... where as the firmware in my phone is R24_U_80.2F.36.00.......

yes this firmware has no lock but if your phone is locked im afraid it will still be locked after the flash

This flash is nice but the only downside is that it drains the battery pretty fast. With the original 3's firmware, the phone can lasts for 2.5 days but this Matrax is only one day.

I'm still searching for the language pack L004D.....anyone can help ?

tried that as well but still give the same result when i flash the langpack 004D. I think maybe the langpack need to be modify for the correct checksum. that's what i read from some other forum. will find time to get it done.

firstly i flash my phone with R24_U_80.2F.36.00.06P_LP002F_MaTraX.NET_v1.shx which is around 66mb and then i use a Three reflash file THREE_REFLASHR24_U_80.2F.36.00.06P_LP0039_DRM0101. shx which is only around 40mb to reflash. this flash seem to be better while retaining most of the extra features from the MaTraX flash and extra free memory as well and a working Audio Media Player!

I have the same, I want to use my Orange sim but it asks for subsity code, anyone know will flashing and flexing allow me to? Which files? I don't any way to actually get into the phone no other sim card, only USB cable/charger.
