the pac code is valid for 30 days.
the porting process takes about 5-7 days with t-mobile.

sorry i didnt make it too clear... its not how long the pac is valid that i am after. its how long i have to bring in a number from the start of the new contract. ie I would like to get one now but my old number is tied to another contract for a few months yet. I know Three dont care and you can bring an old number in at anytime but other networks vary.

30 days? I've had customers bring in numbers long after that, I've always been given the impression that there is no time limit.
