flashing blue light!!!!???

hello all. got my n80 yesterday and everything is great but i have a flashing blue light on the phone. not got any new messages or any open network connections, bluetooth is off, everything is off so why the blue light? its getting on my tits. can i turn it off?

Is it on all the time? I heard that when the screen turns off, the blue light lights up to indicate that the phone is still on even though the screen is off.

Mo You are correct. If set up,after 20 mins of non use the phone goes into sleep mode. In this state the screen is completely black. The flashing blue light is the only indication that the phone is still switched on. Once you touch a key or open the slide, the screen comes back to life and the blue light stops flashing. The blue light has no other function other than this.

Yellowcan Try turning off the sleep mode in the settings menu, that might stop your blue light
