Help with V600i (Speaker)

I recently bought this phone off the trading post and it's in great condition but i was p***ed off cus the speaker is sooooooo SILENT ( icant really hear the other person talking on the other end even though the speaker volume is at the LOUDEST). It'sok with the loudspeaker but on normal speaker mode,it just sucks!

Im using the motorola e1000 at the moment and the speaker is sooooooo CLEAR compared to this!
