N80 will be available in store at phones 4 u from Saturday 15th. Only on Vodafone though.

The nice chap tried telling me that it is a Voda exclusive. Untill I told him to look at the Orange website.......:D

What makes you think Vodafone won't have a homescreen? And why is it such a big deal even if it does?

You obviously haven't seen the Orange homescreen... It's not just a wallpaper setting or the like... It's an extra piece of software that turns a perfectly useable user interface into a clumsy pile of poo. and you can't turn it off.

well i assumed it doesn't have a homescreen as i have a 6680 on orange and my dad has a 6680 on vodafone and his doesnlt have a homescreen on so i made the assumption that hopefully the n80 on vodafone won't. I think you just have to ask anyone with an orange phone with the homescreen to see what is wrong with it, instead of leaving nokia's perfectly good active standby they replace dit with a homescreen which makes everything on a phone more of a chore to access and everything,6 presses of a key to write a new message, whilst without the homescreen it it takes one. I just think it;s a bit of bad interface design on orange's part.

Vodafones n80 wont be a vodafone live handset as it were, it will be able to access vodafone live but wont use all the vodafone menus that some of the other handsets do, stuck between the n80 and the n91 its very annoying as i dont know which one to choose!
