View Full Version : Orange direct have N80s in stock but hurry

Hi everyone ive been keeping an eye on threads for the last month to find out what the state of play is with regards to the n80.Anyway i have just come of the phone from orange who called me at 5pm to say they have just got the 1st batch of N80s in stock.Anway there is only 290 i have brought 1.i am on 12 month contract 300 minutes and 500 tex's for 35 quid per month. I didn't get the phone for free tho i had to pay 50 quid for it but you get a free 25 phone credit once you go pass the 14 day cool of period.Anyway ive got mine ordered and payed for and it will arrive on monday.Its now 17:10 and the guy said they only had 290 handsets in this 1st batch and i am the 11th to be purchased.If you want one of the remaining 280 that are left then i suggest you call orange asap.The guy said this current batch will be sold out before they go on the orange website tonight.
(NB they only have silver handsets,no black ones which i originally wanted but oh well)

So what number are you ringing ?
My brother just rang and was told that it is not available and won't be available until end of may/early june

I just rang them and they have not.
They told me that they have not got a date for this model and they are not given dates.........

i've just phoned upgrades, and they say sometime in may.
I bet CS reps will be very confused why they have suddenly had an influx of calls about the N80!!!! lol.

Call 0800 079 2000 to get one...if there are any left!

Have just spoken to Orange CS. Was told by a reliable source that the release of the N80 will be delayed. Expected around Christmas. CS were sympathetic but blamed Nokia's software. No exact date was showing on the CS rep's screen as yet....will keep you posted. (yes....this is a gag :))
