Your best bet would be to ringCS and ask them what they have to offer. Generally you can down grade your tariff after 6 months with most networks, but I wouldn't to say for sure as I have never been a T mobile customer (this is due to poor reception from them in my area and nothing against the network)

i am sure you can downgrade after 6 months, and i think you can go to the freetime 1000 which i think is 18 pound.you get off peak calls only to landlines and other tmobile

this is off the t-mobile web site

You can move plans as often as once a month free of charge - changes take effect from the date of your next bill (However, you can't move to a cheaper price plan within the first 11-months of a new contract). Either call Customer Services on 150 or do it online through

On flext plans it's now 6 months, it has changed recently.
Don't know if it applies to relax plans tho
