1. Are there any restrictions as to what you can send and receive via bluetooth on the N80. As there were rumours about DRM files.
2. Does anyone know when Nokia Sensor is available for this phone.
3. How good is the clarity of the video playback of self recorded videos?
4. Does the slider feel sturdy?
Sorry if these are long winded, I would appreciate it if someone could answer these.

nofear,
Re Video play back you could check out http://forum2.mobile-review.com/showthread.php?t=47012 and use the search tool, (video playback), it has some comments and another link to a GSMArena review.
Re DRM, I know I've seen some debate on this. Can't for the life of me remember if it was here on 3G or at http://www.howardforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=33
Regarding the Slider go here http://forum2.mobile-review.com/showthread.php?t=46708 ('N80 Space' thread) and type slider into the search tool.
I'm not sure about the sensor.
Hope the above works and is of some help. Sorry about my last attempted reply.

The DRM thread on this forum is HERE. (http://www.3g.co.uk/3GForum/showthread.php?t=37198) although noone has posted any usefull findings in it yet, for those with an N80 please try it out and post in that thread to bring it alive again, its a question thats been asked over and over.

Can someone tell me what the battery life is like on the N80? I know nokia say 190 hours aprox, but I generally like to know what people who own the phone think.

I have to charge the battery once a day, although i have been giving the phone a lot of use..the battery lasts about a day and a half when only taking a few calls over the course of a day.
Just wondering how good the display is? i used to have the sharp 903 and i was really impressed with the quality of the display, but sent it back due to the sound was so low... is the N80 dipslay just as good as they both have 262k colours?
Thanks

The screen on the N80 is about .3inches smaller I think. But the resolution is much bigger.
352x416 compared to 240x320 on the sharp.
This means the display is much better than the sharps. I'm pretty sure the N80 is the best display currently on the market.

has anyone trialled the WLAN feature? I need to know if you can connect to the internet via your PC (therefore by-passing the phone network providers). Thanks

Yep, of course you still have to pay for your PC internet connection, but on the mobile phone it is totally free.

That sounds very good to me, the only issue i have is that three will butcher the phone with their walled garden and I will be unable to surf

As long as they don't disable the wi-fi then your fine. It completly by-passes the network and uses your computers internet connection.

Well I may have to use the 14 day option to make sure. I can't wait for this phone.
Has anyone tried the WLAN and can anyone safely say they are happy with it?

I use it everyday, works fine as long as you are not miles away from the router, I can connect from the road outside the front of my house, which is roughly 25 metres from the router, have also walked up the road and connected to a couple of other houses unprotected routers with the conn manager showing about 65% signal strength.
On thing I have found is that although it will connect fine with bluetooth switched on, you get a better quality signal and therefore range with bluetooth switched off.
Should work fine in places like Starbucks that have wireless access points.

Yeah the bluetooth thing is becuase they both operate on 2.4GHz spectrum. Therefore they both interfer with each other.

Thanks guys for the Wi-Fi feedbacks!
Another question: Nokia will be launching the N93 some time later during the end of this year and one of its features is the ability to connect to your TV set via A/V connectors. Now is it possible to implement this feature on the N80 knowing it's not available???
