Looks like there are still no plans for a release, or at least nothing they are prepared to announce publically. Quite unbelievable
"Thanks for your email about the Nokia N80
I'm afraid that this model isn't currently available in our range of phones. I've checked this and at the moment I can't tell you if this phone will be released by us in the future.
I can understand this may be disappointing, but we are constantly expanding our range of phones.
Please visit our website on a regular basis to keep up to date with the new phones that we release.
We have some great deals on offer at the moment that you might be interested in and these are updated regularly when new phones are launched. For more information, please visit our website at http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop."

I am told the same is happening with the N91 as well.
T-mobile are dissapointing me seriously. Their phone range is shambolic and I am overdue an upgrade. They keep recommending that I reduce my line rental so Im telling "no, I'll just have an N80 thanks"!!
I spoke to sales rep who was honest enough to confirm something I saw on this forum. That was the fact that they knew nothing about the 6280 being releases until a few days/ a week before it came out. The same could be true for these handsets.....
Lets hope so anyway.

I have just rang t-mobile and they said that we should be able to get them from dealers i.e. CPW in the next few weeks can anyone else confirm this, t-mobile seems to tell two different stories....:tired: :(

Yes. I was advised by someone who works at t-mobile that they wont be getting them direct. But CPW or the link etc may well sell then on t-mobile.

That would be well good. £35 for 1800 texts and a decent phone is well good. i dont even mind paying 100-150 for the phone as its a good phone
Does that mean they will be available on upgrades aswell??

I spoke to CPW and they said that the N80 will definately be on t-mobile in the near future, but as for an upgrade, I personally doubt it. Im thinking of changing tariffs anyhow, as t-mobile dont really offer anything else apart from flext, no TV, or thing of that ilk.....:cross-eye :devious: :lick:

i know my last post had no meaning to this post but what i ment was we dont have anything like 3g here.
Anything definitive on the upgrade situation now that websites are showing N80's available with T-mobile contracts?
