Hi all.
Anyone getting FREE GPRS from Vodafone. I am, im not gonna discuss the method, but anyone got it? Ive used well over 1GB and for 2 days its been free

Clearly it is a method that he's not supposed to use.
Vodafone don't offer free GPRS.

I would discuss it, but by discuss the method everyone starts doing it and vodafone clock onto it the they block it.
I suppose i will discontinue using it anyway, ill proberly get a bill through my door as my simcards registered. Or it could just be my loyalty bonus or something.
Are you on contract? It will probably turn out you will be billed for it if you are.

Using internet settings instead of the wap settings on a PAYT card has done this for me in the past, Voda soon got wise, enjoy while you can!!:D

Im on PAUG. The settings im using i found out myself, after a week of messing about with the phone and trying some trial and errors, so im sure vodafone wont find out about it so soon.

GPRS is free of charge for all Vodafone customers; however, this is providing you stay in the Vodafone Live! Portal.
If you have an extras pack this can also pay for your data usage.
These entitle you to the following:
£3 Extras Pack = 50 texts or 2.5 Mb's of data
£6 Extras Pack = 100 texts or 5.1 Mb's of data
£14 Extras Pack = 250 texts or 12.7 Mb's of data
£25 extras Pack = 500 texts or 25.5 Mb's of data
£40 Extras Pack = 1000 texts or 51.0 Mb's of data
Working for Vodafone I'm not aware of any irregularities or news fed back to us informing whereby there's been a fault of free GPRS occuring outside of the Live! portal.

I'm told that these Extras packs don't cover GPRS or picture messaging anymore. They cancelled this recently and there is no new GPRS pack. Is this right? I got a text saying that picture messaging wasn't covered by the Extras Pack anymore. And when I phoned they said GPRS was also not covered now. She said there might be a replacement coming soon, but couldn't tell me what or when.
