My dad ordered me a contract from T-Mobile that I DO NOT WANT, is there any way to actually cancel this before they send me the phone and sim?
This have left me in a state of tears, with this new contract i am useless, i have no means of contacting anybody, i get 30 txts in comparison to the 500 i had before.

you have a 7 or 14 day 'Grace' period where if you are not happy you can send the phone and sim back and cancel your contract.

If you're a minor and your father thinks this is a more suitable contract for you (or his pocket) then then you're stuck with what you get, if he just did it by mistake then get him to cancel the contract as soon as the phone arrives. If your name is on the bill you should have no problem canceling the contract youself within seven days.

alright thats good then, so how do i cancel the contract?
he said some bloke rang him up and made him the offer, he gave his details and so forth and apparently the phone and sim will arrive in a matter of 3 days... He ordered it today around 5pm.
Once i get the phone, what means do i have of cancelling the contract? where do i go from there.
If ordered the phone online or over the phone under the distance selling regulations 2000 you have 7 days to return the phone without penalty.
As soon as you get it you will need to contact the firm for a returns authorisation number. This number is used as a referance for disconection from the network and as authority for you to return the phone.
You will need to put this number on / in the parcel when you return the phone, as with out this number you will be stuck with the contract.
The firm should give you this number and also provide you with a return address. Then send the phone back by special delivery (recomended as the phone is insured and signed for, some will send a returns bag free of charge.
If the company is one of the rouge ones they will try all the tricks under the sun to avoid you canceling the contract like you have opened the box, not supplying a contact number for the firm etc. Some will even insist that you pay a fee for the return and cancalation of the contract, this is againt the regulations.
