What do we need to use Virgin 3G?

Do we need a USIM to use 3G on Virgin? If Virgin have been supporting 3G for some time and we only have a standard sim, how on earth do we use 3g if we need a USIM?!? - Help!!! Why on their website does it say they support 3g coverage in one section, then you look at the phones in their online shop and a 3g phone (the Nokia) is not advertised as supporting 3g! Weird. Will someone please tell me as I would like to use 3g on Virgin as everyone says its avaliable. Thanks

My Virgin SIM works perfectly on 3g. AFAIK they do not bother to use USIMS. T-Mobile and Vodafone are the same. Sometimes you have not ring CS and asked for it to be enabled, but not often.
