Hi

I am on the Voda online 30-day tariff - 250 mins and 1000 texts for £25.

I have just got a blackberry handset from a friend and I wondering if Voda will enable Blackberry on my account?

Can anyone help me out with this?

Cheers

It should just work automatically when you put the SIM in

"It should just work automatically when you put the SIM in"

It should not the sim has to be enabled for blackberry by vodafone who may charge from £6 to £15 pm depending on what price plan you are on.

I've been there done that once. i realy cant see why they not permit PAYG users access to this anyway as well

You can get a BlackBerry package added to your tariff, but it will not just work without modifications to your account.

Hi BangBang,

Vodafone can add something called the Blackberry Internet Solution onto Anytime, Businesstime, Sharetime, Business Caller priceplans.

If your line rental per month is between £1 and £39 then the Internet Solution is charged at £12.77 a month. If your line rental per month is above £40 then it costs an additional £8.51 as an add on.

You can add Blackberry Internet Solution on a non-voice basis (email only) for £15.74 a month. I did this myself earlier in the year, once added it activates the data and email facility on your Blackberry instantly.

These are current prices and may change but there's more infomation on the business section of Vodafone's website. http://online.vodafone.co.uk/dispatch/Portal/appmanager/vodafone/wrp?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=Page_ProductDetails&pageID=BS_0701&Content_Id=AZ_023
