Hiya. Just a quick question. If I'm using the N80's wi-fi for internet could i use things such as logmein to connect to my computer and use the files on the computer/programs on my computer (as all it is doing is showing me screenshots of my pc at a fast rate and im controlling what is shown - the actually opening of files etc. is done by my home computer) and also will MSN messenger work (even if its only web messenger) as I tried on my friends PSP and it kept saying not sufficient memory.

Thanks guys

I have not got a N80, but I would say yes there should not be a problem with what you want to do. I have a 6630 and can do all the above via a connection controled by my network, a wi-fi connection would be "clean" so as long as the phone would run the software there should not be a problem that end. The problems you might have are at the pc side of things like firewall/router setup, which would be dependant on how the software makes a connection.

Just for reference, if you connect via services (the web browser - I'm talking about a Nokia 3650 here so the naming of stuff might be different in the newer version of Symbian and on the N80) then you can go to mobile.msn.com and that's got a web based MSN Messenger that you can use. It's a bit clunky being webpage based (you select a contact, select reply to message, get an input form, submit the message, see the conversation, select reply, submit your reply, etc etc...) but it certainly works.

The exact address for the MSN Messenger if you want to add it directly as a bookmark, is: http://mobile.msn.com/im/im.aspx

yeah, the browser should have no problems running the web msn given that its fine on previous phones. there are application based versions of msn (such as argile messanger) but it will be a while before they are availiable for the N80 as its s60 3rd edition (see here for more info on software and 3rd edition phones (http://www.3g.co.uk/3GForum/showthread.php?t=35460))
