Hi everyone, I'm thinking about getting a W900 on contract with Vodafone. I've read loads of reviews and stuff, but just want to get an opinion from people that actually own the phone. I've just got several questions regarding the phone and the network, which I'd be really grateful if you could answer:)

- With Mobile TV, can it be watched in full screen? Are the channels 'live', as in, showing the same as what is actually on TV?

- I've read the W900's interface can be slow; how slow are we talking?

- Can music files be assigned as message tones?

- Is the swivel joint still as secure as when you got it? (I've hardly played with one, so can't comment on its sturdiness)

Thanks in advance, there will be probably be more questions that I'll think of;)

Can't comment on the Mobile TV as 3G in my area is patchy to say the least. It is played in full-screen, with the phone tilted on it's side. It's a 'live' feed as well.

UI is slower than say the W800i, especially when using a 'flash' theme. I find it ok though.

MP3s etc can be assigned as message tones.

Swivel mechanism is very sturdy. Had my W900i for about three months. Still as good as it was on day one.

Hope that helps.

Mobile TV is great - where it works. Mine works at work but only upstairs at home!? Don't really know if it is the same programme as the one going out "live". Sky news looks like the the proper version. Otherwise, Discovery Channel is definitely different, though still a full length show. Excepting my house's strange signal blocking abilities, it definitely works much better than I thought it would. It is certainly watchable and quite cool.

Te UI is slowish, but to bo honest not so that you would notice it getting in the way.

Music files - as above

Swivel mechanism feels rock solid. Though I don't actually open the phone that often since you can access most of the functions when it is shut.

The one thig to note is that the battery life can be quite short if you have your phone on 3G/GSM networks. I find that it lasts a lot (lot) longer if I switch it over to GSM only when I don't want 3G (most of the time tbh) and switch it on if I specifically want it.

Great phone all round.

Cheers
