how do you get the internet working properly on this phone?i always try to acces sites but they say u have to buy add-ons :mad:
its on 3 by the way

Its not your phone, its 3. As it says you have to buy the add on. Two types available - one for mobile web (wap) and one for full internet.
Have a look at the 3 website

thanx,if i unlock it and put it on maybe orange or o2,which i will do in june.will i be able to get settings for gprs,mms etc?(i think i can i can get them off the sony ericcson phone site)but i'm not sure whether they'll work.

Not O2 PAYG if you want more than WAP, they too do not have full internet. Orange is OK. You can download the setting from the Orange Website.

It would work better if you had the phone flashed with orange or generic firmware to make a K600i as the three firmware may not like you fiddling the settings

flashing is basically changing the software on your phone. Networks brand the software to make it easier (or harder lol) to use the phone on that network. They often lock certain features like the band select mode on 3. If you want to have the original sony firmware on the phone which has no blocked features then you will need to have the generic firmware put on the phone. Most shops usually offer a debranding service- www.kingmobilephone.com is one of the best.

go to the sony ericsson website and choose your country/operator, the settings will be sent to your phone, free.
