My nokia 6680 was stolen while I was out celebrating my birthday on tuesday night. I'm on an 18month contract (started aug 05), phoned 3 and they want £200 for a new phone :eek: £18 for a new sim card and I have to pay for the international calls and downloads the theif made before I could get the phone disconnected :(
At that price I can't afford a new phone as I've just started a new job on an unpaid two month trial :cross-eye
Is there anyways I can get the replacement phone for less?

or buy a cheap pay as you go one other option would be to take out a new contract? Is your contract not up? Aug 04 to 05 is 12 months, add on Sep,Oct,Nov, Dec,Jan,Feb,Mar = 19 months??

Sorry typo, it was last August.
Have you tried to your house contents insurance as depending on the type of policy you may well be covered. Mine is an all risk policy and all my phones are covered.

Went to check if my phone was covered, only to find out that the house insurance expired last month (didn't receive a reminder) :speechles

Look on the bright side, at least it was only your phone that was stolen, you could have been burguled while you were out celebrating.
