Does anyone know if there are any 3G phones on T-mobile....I don't mean MDA etc....I want a phone that is 3G but is basically just a phone....
Currently i have PDA etc. that I am happy with and want to use so don't want to replace this. So what I really need is just a phone with 3G, IrDA & bluetooth so i can use my PDA (will get a flext tarriff and then add Web 'n' Walk Pro)....
I emailed T-mobile to see if they had any phones with 3G access but got an automated email saying they are busy and will try to respond in 5 days....
Thanks for any help

Yes, the Nokia N70 and the Nokia 6280 was on there but seems to have disappeared

Ah ok.... Don't like the n70...
Would have gone for the 6280 but I think it has been removed due to demand and t-mobile struggling to keep up with the orders....
Not sure I will bother switching as I wont be able to get a 3g phone before the discounted tariff finishes at the end of the month.
Thanks for the help

You could call into local t-mobile shop like?

Erm not in Scotland....
I looked up the shop finder on T-mobile website and it listed no shops in Scotland at all (unless the shop finder is wrong)....
Also, could be wrong, but I belive the discounted tariff isn't available in a shop.
Thanks for your thoughts though....

Looks like lots of people have already signed up for web n walk pro it's just not advertised on the T-mob website....
Been looking at it quite a bit
Can be added by CS and in my T-mob apparently.
Not sure but from what I can gather slightly larger FUP, 3G access and can use as modem for PC/PDA etc. are the main things.
Again not sure but from speaking to the shop I think WnW pro will officially be launched and sold from 1st May.

Can you give me any further information on this web and walk pro and cost. The one I have seen is £17+vat but is a datacard.
I understoond there was one for handsets at £10 per month with a 2 GB download limit which means you can use your handset as a moden etc. If you could log into my t-mobile and cut and paste deatils here of the offer it would be great.
I fancy using my N70 to contact to my laptop , the web and walk will not permit that.
Thanks

Can't cut and paste as I don't have T-mobile yet (getting phone tomorrow) however while researching what company to go with I got the info. It is 2GB fair usage policy (not hard limit), it is £10 per month, phone can be used as mobile etc. etc...
Other people have added it through my T-mobile... There is a big thread about it on here I think.... Hold on I'll look for it.

Quite a few people on there have added it.

Ill have had a ook, now just need to confirm if it can be added on for the period of my 18 month contractt or as some posts are saying 24 month? I will be igning up towards end of next week to beat their deald line for the 25% off price plans, but they appear to be running out of handsets big style.

Yeah went from about 6 or 7 options on w&w two days ago to 3 last night....
Checked a few shops today and they had the 3280 so I am going to go with that one.

Think, off the top of my head, the 24month will be for the data only tariff with the data card.
Apparently w'n'w pro isn't available as a tariff yet but as a add on bundle.....
I am going to get the flext on it's own (so I am not locked into 18month std w'n'w) then add w'n'w pro once details are more concrete....

Sorry badly explained earlier...
Yep it is.... However if I buy flext web n walk I am stuck with both for 18month and can't change to pro. If I buy just flext and add w'n'w pro as a bundle afterwards I can remove it any time I want.

Got the 6280 free as well - got it at a T-mobile shop and had W'n'W pro added to my account yesterday (i'm on a personal tariff)
PS customer services know nothing about W'n'W pro on a personal tariff argued the point with her (as I only got the phone for that service and checked with T-mob before buying it).....
I think to get rid of me she put me through to a specialist team of some sort (technical specialist team or somthing). Anyway He went (straight away) it is available on personal tariff's and had me activated in no time at all... They are also getting me loads of help with my PDA connecting to my phone as a mobile (as isn't working with std settings).....
