Hi there i need some help from T Mobile staff. Previously when I was on O2, say if i was 9 months into my contract and I wanted to upgrade early O2 let me pay of the remaining line rental and upgrade early.

Now im on Tmobile ( Have been on same contract with t mobile for almost 4 years now) and my upgrade is due in August. They will let me pay all the line rental to cancel my contract early but not to upgrade early. is this right ? I thought they would at least show some leway for a customer whos been using their services for nearly 4 years. The funny thing is they let me do itlast year with 1 extra month to gobut for some reason they are not budging. Is there any way I can get aroun this ? Is there an escalation dept for customer service who could help me out?

Cheers

Theres an upgrades department, but they wont take the call unless you are eligible for upgrade, ie, in the 11th or 17th month of your contract (12/18 month committments respectively)

Escalations wont be able to help you...

Although, you are right about paying off the contract, they will only let you do it if you are interested in closing your line.

Bad news i know, sorry.

Whats does this mean in english?

Does it mean buy out contract transfer contract number to PAYG then rejoin as a new customer and port number back?

sorry, seems i wasn't making my self clear, (hmmm drunk)

any ways, If you request to pay out your contract and move to a PAYG, they will let you, once you hit PAYG, you can do a Pre 2 Post conversion. A Pre 2 Post will get you "new customer' discount on a handset.

sorry for the confusion, and no it doesnt mean a number port keep the same sim and just convert the price plan.

cheers
