Is there a way that I can change the cost of the internet, as it is currently at 0.73p per kilobyte (£7.48 per Mb) for non-live! pages, which is really expensive. On the tariffs with 3G (includng PAYT I think  ) its £2.35 per megabyte (0.23p per kilobyte). I think my SIM was originally for 2.5G as it came with a Sagem MyV-65, which is why GPRS/internet is so expensive. I would like to pay £2.35 per Mb instead, because I use the internet a lot, and the money I put on gets used up really quickly.

Will I have to get a new SIM card?

Any help appreciated,

If you think that's expensive look at what T-Mobile charge on pre pay 2p per kb or a whopping £20.00 per MB - That is extortion

T-Mobile customer services stated to me 2p per kb when I rang them - there is nothing in their price guide in packs or onlinebb
