I am just about to buy a n70 from a friend who is on o2, i have tried my vodafone sim quickly to see if it works and it worked fine to dial out, but im not sure if i will be able to get all the vodafone features, as im not sure if they are on the sim or phone, features like tv, vodafone live etc, does anyone know if they will work or do i have to reset things somehow if so how do i go about it. just worried incase i buy the phone and they wont work. many thanks mark.

Hi,
I think you have to call 191, and then one of the advisors will send you the settings you need. You can also use the Over-the-Air configuration for the N70 on the Vodafone website

You need to choose the right one to go on the internet (Vodafone(pp) GPRS), to send MMS (Vodafone(pp) MMS), and in RealPlayer to watch streamed video (Vodafone(pp) GPRS).

Note the (pp) is for Pay As You Talk (pre-pay). If you are using Pay Monthly they should send you the right settings anyway.

For texts you also need to choose VODAFONE as the message centre in use.
