Unlocking via USB

Myself, I have an LG U8360, but I was wondering if anyone has unlocked their LG phone via USB themselves, and if so how easy/hard was it, what software did you use, and was there anything that went wrong or stopped working on the phone?

I see that there's some software called Cruiser HASP which says it unlocks the LG U8360, but screwed if I'm paying €89 for that.. Especially when this dude on eBay is selling unlocking for $Au20 (about €12)..

Oh, and can these unlocks be done via the regular USB cable that comes retail with the phone, or is a special USB cable needed?

cooljac- do not tell members to shut up. In fact it is you that is talking rubibish as the LG U8360 CAN be unlocked quite easily and it does not destroy the phone.

TOL9a- You need a serial cable i imagine to unlock the phone...a standard usb will not work
