Hi, I am considering buying a D600 on Orange PAYG and unlocking it as it is much cheaper than buying it on 02! but I am worried about the branding of it! I dont want one if the menus are all gonna be bright orange! lol any1 know?

you can't get on orange payg can you? It's not on the website:confused:

The branding on my Orange Z500 was pretty obtrusive but it's fairly straightforward to get it reflashed. It made a huge difference to the useability of my phone and sped it up a fair bit. The main thing you'll notice is the silly HomeScreen thing has a column of icons down the LHS of the display, messing up the perfectly good menu system of the phone IMHO.

im sure the carphone warehouse use sim free phones for all there networks but i might be wrong.

My d600 doesn't have orange branding on it at all in any off the menu's. The d500 was a bit obvious, but the d600 doesn't seem to have any.

mine doesnt either i got mine from orange direct but when they first launched the handset,the first batch were sim free how lucky was i lol.

I believe you all now as a friend has just bought on from Phones4u, although since this thread started orange themselves now offer it on PAYG on their website

hi, orange do the D600 on PAYG, at the moment its £189.99 with a trade in and £219.99 without.
It is orange branded, with all the orange software on it, but theres no bright orange colours!!
