When i got my 6680 Orange gave my 3G Try for free for 3 months. Which gave me 1GB of data a month for free. I used it with my laptop whilst on holiday and had no nasty shocks, even pulling hundreds of megs down. It was all free. Phone up Orange 3G Support on 350 and see if they can add it to your account.

Thanks for that m8 a will give it ago , its when you run out of the free 3 months it will cost loads tho , for 1gb amonth its about 70-80 from what i remember.
im hoping that they will drop the prices to get more ppl using it , so far three is the one for the least money at themo, but theres its only a 512mb download.

hi m8

as far as i no it does , i had the mobile web site thing on my contract which is the same kinda thing but only 5mb of data , and that worked fine for me for what ever i wanted to get. If you use it on the phone it wont work on all sites as theres only so much youcan do on some phones.

Hope This Helps

...best for me at the moment is T-Mobile's Web 'n' Walk which gives you 40MB free data to surf the net, wether from your mobile or laptop...no other Telco has this offer for the time being...:D

I use orange (3G) WAP regularly, from both my handset, and laptop computer. I have never encountered anything that looks like walled garden, and have been able to get on to any website I've tried.

Agree that the cost is extortionate tho!

No what i mean is that when you try to load pages on orange internet from the handset some pages get blocked , ie . games download sites , which on the games siteit says you can logon for your phone. with orange and three thats not the case.

thats as i read the advert aswel Quackers....yetim still in dispute with them over this, any idea's?

....i got N70 in nov 05,.included was 1000mb of free wap etc each month for the first three month.

nov - dec 1 month
dec - jan 2 month
jan - feb 3 month...all start and stop on my billing date the 11th.

i got such a surprise when my bill states i have used 148 mb ....£152.00 to pay for the dates.....11th jan - 11th feb...

yep,how i hear you all shout, only with orange......even dick turpin wore a mask...

anyhoo, rang em up and i got three month, they cancelled it on the 12th feb, into the third month....??????

one fecking day into third month....so i get biled152 poo'nd's....

now i somehow managed to politely state that i was told three month, says three month in receipt i got...three month/free tv /100mb....

i did get it free for first two....but my god...one day in.

anyway she said it states it clearly.....on her screen this,i was unable to see im afraid,so i dug out all my orange paperwork and had a scour on line...and found this -

"Offers and promotions

now thennot that they let me know they were turningit off a month early and robbing me,it states in there term's and conditions they should have put me on similer package....idiots..

can they do this then? i aint paying,i dont care....would anyone else do same?....

thanks guys Lee.

If they terminate the 'Free' service early without notifying you, then you are NOT liable for the change.
Phone Orange CS back and asked to speak to the senior manager who deals with OFCOM complaints.
If you get nothing from them, proceed to logging the complaint with OFCOM.

See how this goes.
Orange are Lemons and Take The Pith.
