T-mobile is prob the only UK operator i have not been on. What are they like? How is coverage etc? im more of a PAYG user, so hows does their price plan work? What is Relax vs. Mates rate like in comparrision?
Im currently with o2. Any feedback will be good. I've been searching for a good phone company for ages, they don't exist. But just wondering how T-mobile are compared to other networks. They seem to be the only network who useally come out with all the cool ideas and price changes first.

nah after looking think i stick with o2. For once they are getting better all the time. Even though they are imode crazy at the moment at least you can view the web outside of the wall garden.

funny you should post cos just ordered a T-mobile sim card to check them out. T-mobile got some REALLY good deals and appear to be the only network not afraid of trying different stuff out.

i've been on o2 for years, when i went back a few months back i did not enjoy it, sure great deals but the network performance (not signal) was not good. Currently on voda, great network performance but it just very expensive during the day. T-mobile look very good their PAYG looks v good so ordered a sim to check them out. I wouldnt wana try orange their PAYG is just expensive. Never ever been on T-mobile so looking for to trying it.

i was attracted to t-mobile because of the best offer for internet access from the phone (web and walk). i have a device part of a business shared plan and web'n'walk. I have only used the phone in zone 1, 2 and 3 of London and on the Eurostar, and once in Maidenhead, never been anywhere else in the UK.
The service some times can be terrible; no cells available; no line, no service when you're standing in paddington on a friday afternoon; people call me during business from abroad and they get to the voicemail even if I am available in service and phone is not enganged. Other devices in the shared plan call me and get voicemail sometimes even if the phone is not engaged and in service.
Web'n'walk works rather better, although the frequent "gateway not found" errors.
Overall, apart from the prices, I would *NOT* recommend T-Mobile, and as soon as possible I will be looking at other options from other providers, even if they are more expensive. At the contract expiration I *WON'T* be extending it with T-mobile.
