Anyone got an idea when the Nokia N90 will be available on Orange?

To be honest I dont acually think it will. Its quite old now and I think that new handsets are coming out like hotcakes. I know somone who got a N90 on orange but not sure where. Try searching around on the net a bit. You can get the N90 on o2 from the 3G.co.uk store http://store.3g.co.uk/nokia-n90.html. If you buy from here, you will be supporting the forum.

Thought it was really cool when I saw it on the Nokia website. Was thinking of replacing my video camera with a solid state one, and this fits the bill perfectly.

You can get them sim free from carphonewarehouse for £429.99, so it is quite expensive.

Not old, but for mobile phones it is. They have been out for a couple of months now and the rate at which technology moves, they is acually classed as quite old, like the N70 will be in 2 or 3 months time.
Also the size and battery. Apparently the battery is appauling and it really is VERY large. Also it doesnt support vibrate + ring ect.
Im not saying its bad, but due to the size, I dont think the networks were much into it.

yeh chaslams right my mate had one of these and they are really big and do lack sufficient battery power to make it through the day. dont get me wrong its an amazing phone but has major shortcomings and its doubtful you will see a network release for one of these...you can get them on o2 and voda from third party retailers but i think the web portals arent correctly set up for the phone i know 3 and orange portals dont work but if you really want one you can get it now
N90 lasts longer than a N70 on a single charge. Its also a more advanced phone specs wise especially the screen. Yes its large however but it depends what you prefer inferior tech but small or superior and larger.
