hi,
i got a free vodafone simcard on their last offer but it doesnt seem to work on 3g, i have a 3g fone (e1000) but when trying to watch the tv channels is like 1 frame ever few seconds, theres no 3g logo in the top bar, just a G.
just wondering is it could be 2g only or if it can be 3g enabled?

That's what I said, and they said "Do you mean Vodafone Live?", and I said yes but with 3G. Anyway they said OK, may take up to 48hrs etc etc. Anyway I turned the phone off immediately after the call and then back on and it found 3G immediately.

i just rang them and they said it should already be activated, but my area has a patchy 3g signal(none at all). she said within 6 months you should have a 3g signal. i checked on there websit before i rang and it showed my ares as having full 3g signal, strange aye?

Oh, I thought 3g sim cards had a different standard so they needed a different one than to a 2g one, and it doesnt mention anywhere on o2 or vodafone sites about 3g payg
I ended up gettin a 3g vodafone sim from ebay lol
hmm wonder if i can upgrade my o2 sim to 3g for free
