The companys must be finding it hard if they have to work together to help bring new ideas and share info with each other.
Telefonica Movistar, Tim (Telecom italia mobile) and T-Mobile international have joined forces and are aslo looking for other networks to join them in sharing their ideas, info, networks together etc.
They want to cut the cost of teir operations and help pass on the savings to the customer plus also offer extra services espially while roaming and working to gether to ofter seamless roaming, using your own network short codes i.e dialling 123 for answer phone or 150 for customer services and short codes for text too, when ur in one of each others countires or where they have operations in that country.
I'm sure they will be passing on all the info thay have on building an ironing out any problems with their W-CDMA 3G Network etc.
