Just bought a new phone from Ebay.
It is a nokia 6680 which is on O2 network.
The problem I have is that I thought it was unlocked.
My Vodafone card is ok for calls, but after downloading the settings from Nokia I can not send mms messages.
However I can acess Vodafone live.
Any suggestions?

Have you been able or tried to send MMS with your sim previously? If not you may need to call 191 and ask them to enable MMS for your account.

Went to a voda shop today,as I was not buying anything they didn`t want to know.....
Already phoned 191 and was told to "call into 1 of our shops"

I think I have a similar problem. I bought a Nokia 6680 that was already on the Vodafone network, and I use my PAYT SIM card in it. I can do everything except use my e-mail (I need to re-register my Vodafone Mail account or something), and I cannot make video calls or stream video on the live! pages. I can however download the video (e.g news) and watch them. When I try to stream video the phone says I am using the maximum number of connections, and need to disconnect the one that is open (Vodafone(pp) GPRS (01)). After that it says I need to connect to a server and I press Yes, and then it stops, saying "Unable to connect".
When I try to make a video call to a 3 phone, my phone says "Unable to make video call. Not supported by other phone or network."
Does anyone know what is going on? Will I have to call customer services again, and if so, what should I ask?
Is there a way to keep the connection on, as I have tried to get my Palm Tungsten T3 on the internet using the phone as a Bluetooth modem, but the PDA cmoes up with an error: PPP timeout. I can go on the internet fine using my mum's Nokia 6822 (on Vodafone Pay Monthly).
Thanks for any help,

For video streaming you need to ensure the streaming settings are correct. Go to 'Imaging' from the main menu, then 'RealPlayer', then 'Options', then 'Settings', then 'Connection', then 'Proxy'. Use proxy should be 'No', go back, Select 'Network', 'Default Access Point' should be the same as you use for vodafone live.
Are you are certain the 3 phone is in 3G coverage? You get a "Unable to make video call. Not supported by other phone or network," message when the other phone is out of 3G coverage. Assuming it is dial 191 and select the following options:-
Option 1, 2, 5, 1
To turn on your video calling.
Not sure about your email, if you can access vodafone live you should be able to pick up your email if you have selected the vodafone access point in the email settings.
Fot connecting with your palm I don't really know anything about but you could try going to 'Tools', 'Settings', Access Points', 'Packet data', and ensure access point is set to pp.vodafone.co.uk.

Voda use different settings for pay monthly and PAYT, try using the vodafone.co.uk site to send the settings to your phone as the nokia site may have sent the wrong ones.
I have a 6680 from O2 and can send MMS from my voda PAYT sim card if I put it in no problem after using the voda site for the settings.

Thanks PeteMC, but what are the lowest and highest UDP port values meant to be? For the lowest I have 6970, and for highest I have 7170.

My lowest is 6970 and highest is 32000, don't really know what they do, they were the default settings on my phone.

Okay, I'll leave the port values as they are.
(12/02) I changed the highest port value to 32000 just to see what happens.
